About Me
My name is Jill Bledsoe and I am a senior in public relations at Auburn University. I was born and raised in Camden, Ala. It is a small town located in the heart of Alabama's Black Belt. I graduated high school with 23 people so coming to Auburn was a big change for me!
I was very blessed to grow up with the assurance that I could do anything I desired. My parents always pushed me, instilling a strong work ethic in me from an early age. I was also fortunate enough to go to a school with teachers, faculty and coaches who constantly challenged me and encouraged me to be my best. If it were not for the encouragement of some very special teachers in high school, I probably would not have entered my first oratorical contest and discovered my love of public speaking!
I declared a major in public relations my sophomore year of college and never looked back. It is the perfect fit and I have loved every minute of it. I will be interning this summer and then moving to Tuscaloosa, Ala., where I will either be working or attending graduate school.
